I like the clean look of the 87 but i have a 91.

I just want to know if i can take the front bumper of a 1987 and put it on my 91? woud it need any kind of modifications or is it a straight swap?

Thanks,

Ett.

I know that you would need the turnsignals, upper grill, foglights, maybe a lower grill. It sounds weird that you want to go with a older bumper because most people like the 89+ style but you should be able to do it.

I dont know if this helps but here is a pic of my 87 that im parting out.

take your car to a body shop and have them cut the little nose off the bumper and mold a piece to fill in the gap on the bumper and voila! the best of both. but you have to invest on a custom grill as there will be a gap in it, and the pre 89 grill wont fit. i'm thinking of doing this when i get a stock bumper again.
