Intake and TB Polishing Question

To those that have polished your intake. Did you polish the base of the sensors? On the 2JZ manifold there are several sensors that are rather large i.e. traction control and the IAC that have aluminum bases. Should these be polished or just painted black? Seems like they would stick out like a sore thumb if left the dull aluminum color next to a polished intake.

Definately have to polish the bases! Whatever you do DO NOT paint them black!!! That will make it stick out even worse! If you don't want to polish them just leave them unpolished, it won't look as has as you think. Plus if you are taking the time to polish it, then it won't take that much longer to do the bases.
