I'm looking here at the Driftmotion website and I thought of a few questions:

-What is the difference between high and low impedance injectors?

-How/What is the impedance?

-What is the difference between domestic and 7M fuel rail fitment?

-What is the stock 1JZ fuel rail fitment?

Thanks
Sam

for fuel rail do you mean the different types of top feed injectors for the 7m? domestic brands vs import?

the 1jz stock uses side feed injectors.

the impedance is the resistance. low is around 2.5~3ohms high is around 12ohms.

generally stateside cars will need low because they have a resistor pack and the japanese ones will need high and they have no resistor pack. so if you had a 1jzgte (380cc high imp)/2jzgte (stock 440cc high imp) from japan and you wanted to use the states 2jz injectors ( 550cc low imp ) you will need a resistor pack. or if you bought after market high imp injectors for your low imp car you will need to remove the pack or bypass it.

Yeah, I only saw 7M or domestic styles listed on the Driftmotion site and was wondering which would work for the 1JZ. I know the injectors are side fed, What about the resistor pack? Do stock 1JZ's have one?

nope they are high imp stock, if you want straight drop in's look for denso, sard, companies etc. i had 800cc side feed high imp drop ins from sard i think denso has the 720cc. or if you want to start slow get some JDM aristo/mkiv 2jz 440cc
