I never listen to the radio because the sounds of the 7mgte are so intoxicating. The sound of the turbo spooling up, and BOV are great. But when the turbo spools up and the 7M revs it is absolutely amazing. My knees get weak. Best sounding engine ive ever heard and ive owned Z28's and cobras. The straight six sounds like an indy car. I know all of you already know this because you own them but i am in love. My girlfriend says i need help. So i figure ill talk to people who have my disease....

Haha, yeah this is the first car that I can drive probably forever without listening ot a radio or anything! Mostly cause I'm always listening and watching for any changes in the engine though...

Haha, it's made me one paranoid boy now!

LOL, I'm with you there Derek... ANY abnormal sound is followed by a cursory look to the water temp and oil pressure, followed by immediately letting off the throttle.... even if another car made the noise

Yeah, I have to say I like the MKIII over any other car I've owned, which includes a lot of old muscle (first car was a '77 Trans Am, rebuilt 400, 6x-4s milled, Summit 2801 cam, 3.23s, headers, yada yada)

The IRS, Targa, TEMS, turbo DOHC 24 valve engine... it's like a car nut's wet dream... :drool:

and the 7M + CT-26 still gives me a lot of that throw-you-back torque.. :naughty:

lol when i first baught the car and before i was on sm i put a 700 dollar system in my car. well now when i am done i will have on trance cd in there with the volume on maybe 2 and thats it. the 12" sub sits in the garage and the amp is just mounted on the backseat for basiclly no reason,

Hi my name is Jason and my life revolves around boost its like crack the more I get, the more I want I can never get enough I go through enough gas in a week for 3 cars, all for the love of boost I could care less about mpg its all about spg(smiles per gallon). I also have a 71 chevelle with a built 350 but it cant satify my addiction so its sits waiting for the day it gets some forced induction. OMG..... I am not the only one!!! I loved my first supra.... And no other car ever came close... not even 2001 mustang I had....It didnt hurt to get rid of it when I had too. Since I got my 87 supra.... I have been counting the hours til I can drive her.... I already bought a few things for her from ebay before she comes home....
