...From Nazi-Bay!

I fucking swear! Every one who runs Ebay now is nothing more than a sf.com troll nazi.

I listed a turbo this week, and simply because I put ".... not Greddy" they erased - HARD MOTHA' FING DELETED - the whole add. I had like 2 pages of stuff about the turbo.

And its all gone.

Is it sooooo fucking hard for some little pimple faced starbucks drinkin pork h@xor$ to soft delete or even give you a heads up - "Hey your add is against the pollicy, you have 24hrs to change it."

Seriously! Come on people! I feel like the old song... "Signs sings every where a sign."

Yeah Im supposed to remember every forum and sale sites' rules, regulations, bylaws and bull shit?

COME THE FUCK ON!

You should be able to relist it and just make sure you don't put "greddy" in the ad. They only delete them because greddy has complained and threatened ebay at some point with a lawsuit.

I used to sell stickers on ebay and I have had dozens of ads deleted due to copyright infringements without any warnings.. It does suck...I wish they would just edit the part they don't like out of the ad instead of deleting them... Rat bastards.. :(

Well I know I can relist it, but I don't have all that info that I put up.

Took some time, and some little fag sits there and clicks *delete* and then goes and sucks ass to said boss.

"Geee look what I did boss boss."

That's true Jon... I had the same thing happen to me, went to relist something that never sold, and my old listing with the wonderful description was gone. :(

Ebay rules specifically say: Using brand names or other words inappropriately for the purpose of attracting buyers to a listing (called keyword spamming). For policy and examples, see Keyword Spam.
http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/policies.html

And: Brand Name Misuse: Do not include any brand names or company logos in listings other than the specific brand name used by the company that manufactured or produced the item being listed. Certain uses of brand names may also constitute trademark infringement and could expose sellers to legal liability.
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/keyword-spam.html

The rules are there to protect you..

I always have just used the "sell similar item", and all the info from the latest ad was there... I have not listed for a while so maybe they have changed things a bit?

Sorry man..

Ebay sort of blows ass now. It's like going to a regular store now, except online haha. No more deals... everything has a "floor" selling price. Bahhhhhhhhh....old Ebay used to be the shit!

I stopped buying things on Ebay because you have to weed through the 30 posts of the exact same thing selling for the exact same price, or all the Buy-It-Now ones. Yeah, you might as well just order it online.

Less and less parts are being sold, and more and more every day stuff you can order from anyone is being put up. Not only that, but you can't find deals as easy anymore.

Yeah, it's incredibly hard to find a good deal on ebay now... it's like everyone thinks what they've got is amazingly rare or just plain jdm tyte. it's sad.

lmao! That's awesome. I almost never buy anything on eBay anymore... between the (not so good) deals and Paypal wanting to screw everyone over on everything, I just said to hell with it.

I complain about the search engine bombing that sellers do. I have to make a list deleting about 50 words, or all kind of crap comes up that I did not search for due to sellers poor descriptions, and sometimes on purpose.

I don't think you are trying to decieve, but it makes searching difficult if you put "not *****" in the listing.

If you search just cars for sale, with year make and model, cars will come up that are not the year make and model. The seller puts "not civic" or something like that in the description, just so it pops up and you have to look at it. I don't click on it of course, but it wastes my time.

Yeah, I see this a lot too. It gets old very quick. Whenever I list an item I always try to describe it as accurately as possible in the title, and only thing that are specifically that item.
