ok so i have an 89 7mge and i have no clue what the problem is it kinda sounds like the problem other people are having called (heat soak) but a little different my car will crank over just fine but wont put out any spark so i pulled the ignighter and coil off and put them on a buddies car and it fired right up and didnt miss or anything so i checked the distributor, fusible links, and fuses all of it checked out so i put it all back together and tried again and the coil sparked off the shock mount but it will only do this when the battery is low and almost dead if i charge the battery and try it again ,no spark it done this about 4 times and i,m stumped so if anyone has help i would apprieciate it thanks

This could be as simple as something grounding out. Try a few things. Is the car properly timed? Have you check for any codes? The chances this has anything to do with the ECU are very slim. Just take it one step at a time. Do a search, I'm sure someone has had your problem.
