If I change the O2 sensor location, can cause a lean condition?

Hi,

I modify the exhaust of my supra, I now see a little lean condition on normal driving around 3k Rpm’s, from 15.8 to 14.5, but my EGT tem reach to 1300F with boost ( the sensor is install in the 6th runner.

The ambient temperature is around 115F to Fkn Hot!

Is normal?

My fuel setup:

Walbro pump
New RC 550 injectors
Lex AFM


Turbo Manifold
T4 Turbo Hot side A/R .68 / Cool side A/R .70

Can be because the o2 new position?

Can be a small hose leak?

I try the search option with out any luck!

What do you think?

I would get a better flange welded onto that downpipe...your o2 sensor isn't even in the exhaust stream...BIC sells the perfect flange:

I think you need to get rid of that little tube and just weld the flange on.

The reason it's like that is because the bolt holes aren't tapped, so he has to use a nut...

The BIC o2 flange sits perfectly flat, and the bolt holes are tapped...so no need for nuts.
