Idle jump?

whats up guys, i have a problem with the new motor...when i rev and hold my car to about 2500rpm in neutral it drops to about 800 or 1000 then jumps back up to 2500, it does this for as long as i hold it...any ideas, i re-ajusted my tps yesterday with a volt meter , could that have anything to do with it???:nono:

ISC maybe? does it do it constantly like up and down up and down like pulsating or what?

idk, but my car did it once randomly.. i was driving normally.. normal idle.. come to a stop.. its at 2000rpms.. keep driving home.. by the time im down the street from my house its back to normal...no codes or anything.. really weird.

Any codes or is you engine light on?

Sounds like fuel cut. Not the made up term often used by this community but the real one. Does it do it with the pedal buried? If so check for code 51 with the pedal off idle. If you don't get it that's the problem.

yeah i found out i have an intake leak, think i need a new intake manifold gasket and better hose clamps

Hey guys, it was my tps, it had a short and was grounding itself out, and out of adjustment, all is well now but there is still a lack of TQ, i got new NGK v power plugs, but only lil improvement, tomorrow im gonna put on the new ngk wires then let you know what happens

I got new wires but there is still a huge lack of TQ, i tried to hit 120 today add it just wasn't pulling, TPS? MAF? timing?
