ID this connector please

What year is your harness? Yellow or grey plugs that connect to the ECU?

its a 1988 NA supra (ca emissions), although i have no clue how much is original. the harness has yellow connectors to the ECU.

I am 99% sure that connector would be for an EGR Temp sensor. Only Cali cars have that. Gotta love California!

In that thread it looks the same except the color, which could be because that specific harness is 89+ (grey plugs instead of green)

What color wires going to the connector? Black/Yellow and Brown?
It does look like the EGR temp sensor and its connector #20 it that first link. Connector "b" here

PS that thick black ground cable needs to attach to the block right behind the AC bracket, not the intake.

thank you very much for identifying this plug for me. when its daylight again ill heck the wires and see if theyre black/yellow and brown. unfortunately my car has been modified so much by previous owners that its a bit hard to tell what is factory and what is not. i know the car is originally from CA, but whether or not any of the components are still CA emissions compliant, i have no clue. thanks again for the help!
