Hey everyone I was just looking for some opinions here. What options are there for upper hard pipes for a stock intercooler to the throttle body (eliminate the 3000 pipe)? I like the Lipp one but believe it is around 400 dollars for just that 1 pipe (and based on reviews and comments not sure I want to order from them). I have also seen the CX racing one and think it looks pretty good but have read others say they wouldn’t buy it. So post up what you’ve used, have, or think would be a good option. I would like it to stick with the stock routing but it is not necessary so long as nothing needs to be relocated to fit it I believe 2.5 inch is all I need as I am not looking for huge numbers. Thanks in advance for your help.

Usually you just get a cheap universal kit and and cut and weld. Or if you dont have a welder and cut mark and take to a welder. Nothing really out there for bolt on. There used to be cooleze which was expensive and he had a long waiting time and then screwed people and went out of business.

you can do what he said, or you can buy aluminum tubing and some silicone connectors (plus clamps obviously) and make your own. if your on a budget exaust pipe works to, just looks a lil ugly unless you paint it. most of this stuff should be avaible at most parts stores, or browse the junkyards for used hard pipies piping off a wrecked car.

what i did for my old 88 was off the shelf 2.5 mandrel U bends. unsure of price now, but as they come in a U shape, you can cut it for any angle you need.

You want the leaast amount of couplers, meaning 4. 1 on the tb, turbo, and 2 on the ic. Least possible problems for boost leaks and problem areas.

Also the least amount of bends or at least sharp angles will work better.
