i need some help...

i need some help with something that im not too sure of...

something wierd happened yestrday and i dont know wat to do.. i disconnected my amp do replace it with a better one last nite, and everything went good.. but then today i went to turn off my car, and the clock and my deck wouldnt turn off?? they are both staying on for some reason and i cant figure out why... i disconnected the new amp to see if it was causing the problem, but its not... does anybody know what this could be or why this is happening??

you may have a short to power on your head unit ither than that i dont have any idea. as far as the power steering rack i dont think so id say you may have to pull the front crossmember.

i dun even kno.. i heard that it sounds like its getting a constant feed from a pwewr source, but i didnt touch the wires in behind the dash or behind the deck, so i dont kno why all of a sudden it would be acting up..

you crossed the amp power wire with the remote wire. there could be one strand touching, that's all it takes. my brother did the same thing. basically, you're powering the radio from the amp side. it's a little backwards, but it happens sometimes.

would that cause the clock to stay on as well??

i went through it all behind the deck and dash today and everything looks good, so maybe it is something in the wiring for the system..

ok i checked the remote wire and the power wire, and they are not touching at all, i had the remote wire and power wire completely disconnected and removed, and everything continues to remain on... any ideas now?
