Ive been gauge shopping and dont have a clue what to buy.I know that a boost gauge is a must have, and a egt gauge is a must have. I do have a lm-1 wideband but i didnt get the xtd gauge with it.I wasnt sure if it was a "must have" or not. I would like know if im going in the right direction, and if anybody has a specific brands please suggest them.

I suggest getting the XD-16 unless you have some other way to monitor A/F's, although I'm not sure if the LM-1 has a built in monitor, (maybe) I know the LC-1 doesn't. I suggest Oil temp and Oil pressure guages along with water temp.

lm-1 does have screen, but its kinda big and bulky so it will most like be tucked away in the glove compartment.

How important are oil temp and water temp gauges? The oil pressure gauge is self explainitory, but if i replace that one it would need to be in the stock locatioin

I deem the oil temp to be the more important one of the two, there have been plenty of heated debates on which is more important, but a water temp gauge is def. better than the stocker ;).

I was looking at those, very nice but a little on the pricey side, and dont you need some kind "box thing" to make the gauges work. :dunno:
