I am on Jury Duty

Bummer on getting picked as the alternate. I was going to be seriously irritated if I had been randomly picked, myself, but that didn't happen. Sounds like justice was served here, so it wasn't a waste of your time.

BTW, I grew up in Somerset - just 8 miles east of Stillwater, and we make it up there every summer to see my family. I miss the area a little...

It did kind of suck being the alternat but the info I learned made me feel better and letting the other jurers know felt good too. I actually got pretty tight as a group and will be having a party for the 13 of us soon to talk about the whole thing and have a few drinks. I had my doubts about the court system but I have realized that we do have THE BEST system in the world and it can work especially when these scumbags get what they have coming to them.

I forgot to mention the judge decided to have him put into custidy with NO bail so he will never get out until paroled....I love this outcome, not quit CSI but good enough for me
