Hydropump to mechanical fan?

Can I put a regular water pump in place of my hydropump and use a mechanical fan instead? What all needs to be done?

You use a 2jzgte pump and rear housing and either a ls400 clutch/7m 10 blade fan or a 2jzgte fan and clutch and space it out.

You will need the old 7M shroud too and it won't work well enough with the 2J blades due to clearance issues. I lost a fan, shroud and radiator when the 2,J blade hit the shroud and disintegrated. You also can toss the little ac fans cause of the ic pipe.

IF you relocate the battery or use a small braile or something you can drill a hole for the ic piping to do down and around and still keep the a/c fans.

I went with a small pusher fan on the condenser.

I have a 2JZ-GTE clutch with a Soarer fan and had to clip blades along with shimming the fan forward. There is enough clearance to fit an aftermarket radiator as it's over 1.5" away currently on the stock radiator.

I have a 2jzgte clutch and fan. Had to trim the fan blades slightly because they hit the 7m shroud a little.
