Hydro fan blade ceased

Had my car idling for about 40 min on thursdays, then yesterday I stated it up and the hydro fan blade won't spin ( not even by hand). How can I fix it? What cause it to go bad?

Btw when I first got it I spin it by hand and after a couple revolution it would get stuck then I woukd have to spin it the other way to loosen it up.

Sounds like there is something inside the fluid that is cloggin the fan from spinning... spin it the other way take the hose off and catch the fluid, see if there is any debris in there... other then that i dont know, save for e-fans?

Probably the first instance I've heard of that happening... I would think along the same lines as above, debris in the fluid. Honestly though, I've never taken apart a hydrofan before, I'm not 100% certain how they operate. Hopefully someone with experience can chime in here. Do they run off the same pump/reservoir as the power steering itself? If so, does your steering have any issues?
