so i got a wideban now an the car was having a lean idel and not reading on the wideban is there a write up on how to adjust it

On the housing, there is a round metal plug that needs to be removed. Behind it there is a screw. To make the mixture richer, turn the screw in. The idle mixture is not as important as the mixture at wide open throttle. Adjusting the afm screw will change the mixture at all throttle positions and rpm's. Adjust for the WOT mixture. Did you put 550cc injectors in?
i have 550cc in and could i adjust it by just putting the car on a hoist or does it hqave to be under load
Simplest approach is to tune for Vf=2.5V at cruise with light throttle. Then you have the AFM/injectors centered to the factory tune.
Get a volt meter and run leads (wires) to E1 & Vf1 at the diagnostic block under the hood. That'll read the volts while your cruising. Basics of Vf http://www.well.com/user/mosk/Vfsignal.htm .
