Hello, I recently bought a wastegate It looks much like this
Wastegate

My problem is that I do not know how that lower plate mounts. I dont know if the beveled edge Goes twords or away from the plunger on the wastegate. And then I do not know if the Metal gasket (which also has a beveled edge on one side) goes between the plate and wastegate or the plate and exhaust manifold. Which way do The bevels go? Which order does the plate and gasket go?
Thanks for the help

It looks like it comes with a flange that can be welded on. If your manifold already has the correct flange you do not need it.

Doesn't matter which way the gasket goes.

And cheap wastegates never work out in the long run. If I were you I would get a tial, hks, pte, etc name brand one.

Beveled edge goes towards the wastegate, its what seals on the valve. Gasket will go between the manifold flange and the flat side of the beveled flange. Doesn't matter which way the gasket faces. At least that's how the HKS version that gate is a copy of works.
