Houston guys, I need to borrow a 7MGTE ECU

As the title states, I am in need of an ECU for an 88 7MGTE A/T. My car cranks, but isn't getting spark. I just want to borrow an ECU to see if that is the problem.

I have one but it came out of an 88 w/ 5speed if it will help you.

The one that came with the car when i opened up the glove compartment to get to the ECU was a junkyard unit from an 87 M/T.. it was marked as a A/T computer (dumbasses). Im not sure if the A/T and M/T computers are the same though..

As of now, im trying to see if its the ECU thats not giving me spark. Then, ill go and check the ignitor and coilpacks.

there are a couple of fuses you need to check in drivers side kick panel fuse panel. One say ignition and the other says ECU ign.... Also check the big fuse under the hood.... maybe a 30 amp??? It's square....
