Anybody have any pics of MKIIIs with hood scoops on them? I was debating installing one and making it functional for cooling purposes. I used a 99-04 Mustang GT scoop on my old 300ZX years ago and was thinking about using another one on the Supra. But I am open to all ideas.

No, That's a hood scoop off a 1st gen 300zx, 84-85 I think.
'77-'78 280z had recessed louver-type hood scoops. I used the same scoop as you ON my '78 280z, with a '75 hood.

alright my bad man, found this in a junk yard and I'm parting it out. my bud with a 280z said that's what it's off of. don't have to get defensive about it.

Dont think he was getting defensive at all just making a correction. But OP if you like the scoop look and functionality there are some really nice aftermarket hoods made for our cars. Little more pricy but they look awesome.

I thought about making my own FG or CF hood for the car but since its just my dd I'd rather save the time and money and go with just the scoop. But like I said I'm open to pretty much anything. The Celica all track scoop looks pretty good on the Supra. How do good do y'all think a 99-04 gt scoop would look.
