I remember seeing this back in the day. Still looks like something Doc Brown concocted. Besides the "First Encounters" light show, the font used on everything just kills me.

It's fine as long as they can be turned off or dimmed. Judging by how well you can see stuff that's outside the car, I'm thinking the exposure is a little long so it looks brighter than it really is.

Most digital photography looks like that. The pics of my LED dash make it look like that, and they aren't anywhere close to blinding:
