So I put the HKS blow off valve kit on my 7M, everything else is stock other then the open down pipe. I replaced TPS and cleaned the Idle Air Control. The engine still idles at 2,000 RPM because the blow off valve is causing a vacuum leak, but here is the problem, there is no adjustment screw on the back of the valve, any thoughts?

can't be the BOV, since the TB block the air, even if the BOV was open...

Put your hand over the BOV opening and pinch the vacuum line going to it if you don't believe me...

it shouldn't make any change, if it was the cause it would lower the idle down.

You have a leak after the TB or a vacuum leak...

What the fuck does that mean!!!

Why does everyone on here have to treat people like this, is this high school? Just because I don't know as much as you, you think it's funny to treat me like this, when i am simply asking a question of advice!!!!!!!!!!!!! :3d_frown:

It means those are the areas to check it has nothing to do with the BoV.... \

Think about things a little before you post and maybe you will be able to sort it out yourself.

You won't learn anything if we constantly hold your hand and spoon feed you.

I'm sorry for the rude post I have just been fighting with this car for about a month trying to figure out the problem, and I am so used to so many people on here writing rude, stupid replies to my posts just because I did something wrong or didn't ask a question right.

My sincere apology's, :icon_bigg

No probs at all I figured that's why the outburst ;)

Diagnosing a problem should start with "What have I fucked with and is it connected to the problem"

Both of the area's I bolded are and either could have a direct effect on your issue.

I just went out and rocked TPS back and fourth with the engine running. From the perspective of the drivers side fender, I rocked TPS towards me and that made idle fluctuate, and when i rocked it away from me idle increased slightly. After that I put TPS back to zero. Then the problem must be ISC.

If anybody has had the same symptoms and it was ISC please chime in, tell me your ISC story.

Thanks in advance,
Scott

There is a set procedure to set the TPS follow it.

These cars are a system if you don't adjust everything correctly you can't hope to make them run right.

Sumeet even linked the sections of the TRSM you need to follow.
