I bought some cheap HID's off ebay... they look way better than stock and are a nice bright blueish white... pretty decent beam pattern aswell...

A Aftermarket HID Kit only provides you with a cheaply made bulb, and a poor quality ballast. It might have a "look" that you think you want, but in time you find out that you get what you pay for. Cant go wrong with a true genuine OEM HID Retrofit.

Copmare the output of a HID Kit in the other thread, to an OE setup retrofitted into a vehicle that had halogens:
