Jake Paul, AKA "The Problem Child," is headed back into the ring for the first time since his victory over Mike Tyson last November. This time around, he’s facing ex-WBC middleweight champion Julio César Chávez Jr. in a cruiserweight match. Paul has made no secret of his dreams for a belt, and this fight could bring him one step closer to a shot at a world title. The odds definitely favor Paul. The fight will also feature a cruiserweight clash between Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez and Yuniel Dorticos for the WBA and WBO titles, and more action worth catching in the ring. The event kicks off Saturday, June 28, at 8 p.m. ET. Here’s what to know and how to watch.

Jake Paul is set to take over headlines once again this weekend, as he’ll look to improve on his 11-1 professional boxing record. Paul infamously fought boxing legend Mike Tyson back in November, drawing millions of eyes to see the legend back in the ring.

Paul is an overwhelming favorite in this match, as he’ll take on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Chavez Jr is a veteran, appearing in 62 professional fights with a 54-6-1 record, 34 of those coming by
What time does the Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. main event start?
Main event start time (approx.): 1:30 p.m. AEST
Paul and Chavez should make their way to the ring around 1:30 p.m. AEST, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

It's Paul's (11-1) first fight since beating Mike Tyson in November in a contest that brought in record viewing numbers for Netflix. "The Problem Child" is on a five-fight win streak. Paul was close to fighting Canelo Alvarez and Gervonta Davis before circumstances led to both fights getting nixed.

There were rumors that a fight against Chavez (55-6-1) had been in the works for years. Paul believes now is the right time to clash against the son of a legend and hopes, despite professional and personal setbacks, Chavez gives his all on fight night.

"I don't want any excuses. When I beat this man, all the boxing media, like you always do, are going to discredit it. I'm going to expose and embarrass him," Paul said. "He's the embarrassment of Mexico. Mexico doesn't even claim him, and he's going to get exposed on June 28.

"They say he's training hard. They say this is the most focused he's ever been. Good. As he should be. People don't realize how good I actually am, and when he feels those first few punches, he's going to want to quit and go back to his stool."

Chavez is a former WBC middleweight champion. The son of Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. has gone 4-3 since losing against Canelo in 2017, but his last fight, last July, was his first in three years. The 39-year-old recently participated in a residential treatment program after being arrested on felony gun possession charges.

Once considered the future of boxing, Chavez looks to return to glory at the expense of Paul.

"Jake is crazy. I think he's overrated. He hasn't fought anybody in his life," Chavez said. "On June 28th, he's going to see what's up… Mike Tyson wasn't even a fighter. He doesn't know what he's going to see or what to expect because he's never seen it before. In boxing, you learn step by step, and he's missing many."
