Help....

Hey everyone,

As some of you i am getting my car tune with in the next two weeks.

But before i do i have a problem my car keeps getting code 52 (knock sensor) wich i have replace both, and still get the code.

My engine does not have rod knock and is in good health please help

Might be the wiring to the KS. They do tend to go bad, and there's a write-up or two around here for how to rewire them.

Code 52 is 99.9999% of the time the wiring...

Shaeff sells the rewire kit...

yeah- when I got my swap, someone had already rewired the knock sensors, but 6 months later, the harness started rubbing on the EGR area, and melted/shorted the KS wire, and bang! code 52. the KS rewire is fast, easy, and brings immediate improvement to performance.

Or you can go the really expensive route and replace the entire wiring harness LOL
