hey was wondering if anyone has had similar problems and can help. short story my heater only works when im giving the car assholes
1- the control pannel is probly needing to be resoldered/replaced as when I change from hot or cold the heater tap doesn't move in the engine bay
2- I connected the vacume line to the top of the heater tap to open it
3- the water lines either side of the heater in the engine feel warm/hot
4- went for a 1hour drive mostly crusing heater was blowing cold the whole time in the last 10 minutes started driving a little harder and was cranking heat for the rest of the drive
5- 1 hour later went for another drive heater cold
all the above "tests" were done on the same 2deg c day with the heater tap bypassed to be open all the time.
why would it only be hot when boosting? blocked and more water flow at high rpm?
im sick of being cold there is no water leaking from the heater core(that I can see apear on the carpet anyway)
