well i checked on the hks website but i didn't find that chip it may be a jdm one. but there are chips designed for our cars. the numbers are E155, for use with stock injectors, E164, for use with 550cc injectors, and E105V for use with the VPC. all this info and more can be found a HKS's website -- http://www.hksusa.com/. and there is a few sites that sell the chips and other accesories. you can find them on ebay some times or at this site http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/.

yea i'm pretty sureyou can use any chip. i just think they had different chips for jdm. i think the unitis actally the same, no mater if its jdm or not. where did you get it? what injectors are you running? do you have the VPC?
and here is a quote right from the hks usa website on what the pfc f-con does-
"The HKS PFC F-CON is a plug-in fuel management system designed to supplement and refine the OEM fuel curve to maintain a proper air/fuel mixture when increasing boost pressure in turbocharged applications. The PFC F-CON optimizes the factory injector pulse width signal by recalibrating information obtained by both the PFC F-CON absolute pressure sensor and the OEM engine control unit (ECU). Each unit is application specific and includes a preprogrammed ROM for a particular performance stage."

i know what it dose,i had been deciding between fcon and maft pro for a while and this poped up so i got it.no i don't have vpc i have been looking for one but right now i have the fcd and gcc i don't plan on creating a hole lot of power i have ct 26 60-1 right now and 550s,the 60-1 and 550s are not on the car right now.all i really wanted to know was what this chip "dose" if it is 440s chip 550s or 440s w/vpc or 550s w/vpc.becouse i am not sure. the guy said it was for a 89+ supra but has this chip in it i couldn't let it pass me up for 150.00.i figured i could figure out what this chip dose or i could just buy and nother one.

thanks for the input

i don't really want to throw it away, their easy to use and ive read many good things about them,i don't plan on making a lot of power if i did i would probably buy a stand alone or somthing "better".this is somthing to just get me by untill i build the engine and go standalone.

thanks for the advice

thanks

lol. i was just kidding about throwing it away. but you probably shouldn't use it on your car. i'm not tellin you what to do with your car but.... the fcd gets rid of the fuel cut on our cars. the fuel cut is there for the safety of our engines. what it does is cut the fuel off when you boosting to high. if you have a fcd that eliminates that and then bad things can happen. there are ways of RAISING your fuel cut, so that you still have that safety net. you would probably be better off sellin the fcd on ebay or something. but like i said i'm not tellin you what to do. just look up the info on the fcd or fuel cut ad use your own judgement. just tryin to help youout.

the fcd came with it and so did the gcc.so i got a pretty nice deal except for not knowing what the chip dose. i have a electronic boost controler but i have it set on .5 bar so i don't have to worry so much about over boost. but i am attending a tech school so i don't plan on putting the turbo and installing everything for a while yet becouse i may get a chance to rebuild the motor with free maching and about 1/2 off on all the parts i use including forged internals(i forget what brand they carry).i am really only useing the fcon as a means to add fuel i will be picking up a lm-1 shortly.

thanks for advice
