Now that my winter build is over I am having problems with code 14.
The ignition system is virtually unchanged with the exception of a wire tapped into the IGT signal wire for the MAFT Pro. I think I've pretty much ruled out the MAFT as the cause of the code. What I have tried thus far:
Swapped out the igniter with a known working one off of a running Supra.
Checked to make sure the wires were connected to the right places on both ends of the harness.
Checked voltage drop from the igniter side to the ECU side of the igniter wiring. Voltage was consistent on all but the IGT wire, which dropped about
1v. I ran a wire from the igniter to the ECU in place of the IGT wire and still no good.
The voltage drop is clearly a problem and I intend to fix that before I start driving the car, but it doesn't appear to be the problem.
Does anyone have any ideas?
