Hey guys i ran into a problem with my supra today. When ever i drive my car now, it feels like i have no power steering. It takes alot of force to turn the steering wheel. The problem started today. I checked the power steering fluid to make sure it was at the correct level and it was. I replaced the power steering pump about a year ago so i dont believe that is the problem. What else might cause the car to feel like it has no power steering? I was kind of leaning towards the rack and pinion but im not sure so im turning to you guys for help.

thanks!

The belt is still on. mark do you have a pic of what the pps connector looks like?

I think/guess what he means is the vacuum line going to one of the two VSV's under the intake manifold?

They are made of metal, have one or two vacuum connections and a brownish air filter. One is for your EGR, the other for your PPS.

ok just checked, the white 2 wire pps connector leaves the harness at the same place as where the igniter wires do
You can see the wires go to the valve on the rack
If your car doesnt have pps it will be taped to the harness :)
