HELP!!! My NEW Paint is Rusting...

Yup!!! I'm an idiot. I was working with my steel wool on the windows and moldings and stuff about a month ago and apparently I didn't blow off all the little steel wool remnants. Well... the heat has taken it's toll on the car and has somewhat embedded the stuff into my 1 year-old garage kept paint and the steel wool remnants are rusting...

Is there anything that I can do to save my paint???

Clay bar maybe? Rubbing Compound? Polish? Sorcery???

Or must I resort to color sanding...

I don't think that I can really take pictures because it is so minute and my camera isn't that good, but hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about.

I have a crap load of clear coat on the damn thing... so I doubt that any of the rust has or will ever reach the metal... I hope...

Any help would be phenomenal fellas...

claybar is what we use in those situations.
compound also works, but it takes a little more elbowgrease.:icon_bigg
