help my ic pipes are hot!!!

ok guys i have removed the rubber seal at the rear of the hood and also the padding under the hod to allow for more air flow. my main concern is that my ic pipes get so hot you cant touch them. what are some more ways to keep them cool.{ it also did this when i had the clutch fan on it}:3d_frown:

Heat wrap the cold side. that should help a little.

Im just an N/A, but i had the same problem with my aluminum intake pipe...

DEI makes a heat wrap to wrap arround your headers, and it works great to keep the cool air in, and the hot air off of your pipes!

They sell it at autozone and its about $40 and the roll will do all of your pipes!

Oh yah it made a big differance in my intake, because it keeps the air cold therfore it was dence... I picked up some top end power!:icon_bigg
