Help Identify What's Wrong! *With Vids*

Hey everyone,

I finally got some footage of my car. It really sounds bad and I dont have any clue what is wrong with it. There is no Power steering fluid in the resevoir as it leaked all over the driveway. The right cam gear is shaking a bit. Here are the videos because I dont know how to explain it any more.

(valvetrain sounds a bit clacky)

my cam gears seem to be a little shaky also. Idle is a bit rough too.

Duh! It's your power steering pump screaming, because it is starved of fluid...put some ATF fluid (read: not power steering fluid, only ATF) and see what happens... Find out where it is leaking from...it is likely coming from on the boots on the rack, or a hose coming from the reservoir.

must be. the whole TURN THE STEERING WHEEL TO HEAR THAT CRAZY SOUND thing pretty much told you STEERING PUMP! THIRSTY! HELP!

I know my power steering isnt working somewhere, but that isnt the only problem. It cant be heard very well in the videos, I will see if I can take some more today. There is also a tapping noise very lightly, but I cant pinpoint where it is coming from. Also, the cam gears dont seem to be installed right, they sway a little bit when turning.

Well, take care of the power steering, or remove the belt, and then take a vid, because with that thing screaming, i couldn't hear anything else.

2. Tighten your cam gear.

Do I need new camgears? When it idles, the rpm seems to drop a bit over a 2 min period. Almost sounds like it is going to die.

With the way it sounds, your brave just driving it out of the garage. A lot of TLC and she will be good as new.
