Help getting door open?

So I tried to open my passenger side door today and it won't open, from either inside or out. The locking tab feel like its jammed up and the handles dont feel like they are attached to anything. Anybody else have this issue and if so, how did you correct it?

Slim Jim or equivalent. Supras are easy...

Wiggled a coat hanger around and the thing finally unlocked, the tab and the actuator were binding for some reason. Well I just won't lock it lol
