Howdy, I've been lurkin here since I got my MKIII in November, a super clean 91T. I just wanted to say hello cause I want to start posting some, and do some trading in the sale forum and don't wanna be a complete stranger when buying things from people. I'm from Southern Illinois and I don't think I have ever seen another nice MKIII in the area. Except the beautifully restored 89T that just sits in the garage at my best friend dads' place, I pretty sure it hasn't moved in over 4 years. Back in the day I'd be at his house and his dad would be out of town witch is nearly always me and him would go in the garage take the cover off and just sit in it drooling all over it :biglaugh:. That car made me fall in love with the MKIII and Toyota in general actually. Ever since I got my license I have been moving up in the toyota world. Started off with a old Camry then to a 6th gen Celica and now the Supra.

But I got the frigginblownheadgasketIshouldaknowwhenIboughtitbutwantedittoomuchtopassup blues at the moment. And the differential was about to go so I got a good used one also it had a pretty nasty exhaust leak from the exhaust manifold. I got a mechanic who used to own a garage but now works for a tucking company working on it. But the company has been working him like hell lately and have been lucky if we get to work on it for a few hours in the evenings when hes off. But you can't beat 35 bucks an hour and hes cool with me coming over to his place and helpin him out and he been teaching me things, so its all good. Right now my head it at the machine shop getting resurfaced, valve job and all that good stuff. But its been there 2 weeks tomorrow and the car has been at the mechanics' for 45 days now. I'm getting pretty restless with the car gone and have been getting on here more and more to fill the gap in my heart......... But its gonna be a whole different car now that it will be running healthy again. Especially with the exhaust im making for it, RDDP to a high flow cat to a single in to dual out Jones Full Bore muffler. Coming out the back to shotgun style 12x3.5 inch tips. Its gonna be worth the wait so hopefully it won't be too long and I can post up some new pics and maybe a vid of the exhaust.
