Heater Core problem

While removing dash, noticed this

So is this bad?

Also, my AC stopped working long time ago, leaks somewhere I guess, still in the winter the heater blows nice hot/warm air, but problem is, that in the summer... it does the same! Why could that be? I mean, I don't want it to cool like AC, but still, some colder air would be nice :icon_razz

yeah, it's probably time to replace the heatercore.

the A/C probably has a leak in it somewhere, or the servo is stuck on full heat, which makes your A/C not cold.

That looks like "electrical" corrosion to me.

that kind of looks like stopleak to me did you try to use stopleak first and it not hold maybe?

Father said he hasn't used anything, but maybe someone used it before him. I wouldn't like to change the heatercore though
