Heated mirrors?

Do our cars have heated mirrors? I was looking at my original window sticker and it says it has "ELECTRIC MIRRORS W/ DEFOGGERS".

Do they have a heating coil behind the mirror? Is it activated by hitting the defrost button that does the rear window?

I searched, but couldn't find any definite info. Anyone know the scoop?

just put a fuse in the correct place in your kick panel and turn on your rear defrost. this also turns on your defrost in the mirrors

Mine aren't necessarily malfunctioning, I can't tell if they work in the summer. I just had no clue these cars had it.

i'm not saying this will work for everyone. it worked for me after studying the back of the little door that lists what fuses do what. Some cars may not have this feature, i don't know.

i only use them when i need the rear defrost, ie.. winter mornings or what not. the glass (mirror) does get pretty warm though

All MA70's have heated mirrors. Also JZA80's in Canada had heated mirrors, I don't believe USA ones did ever (though I haven't checked in a while).
