Does anyone have a header/exhaust set up they would recommend? I tried doing a search and the only thing I can come up with is that Pacesetter and Monza suck. If anyone has a decent setup i would be interested because i will most likely be N/A for a least a couple of years while im in college and i want to have some fun with the car besides fixing BHG's :biglaugh:

pacesetter/obx is pretty much the only header option you got thats widely available most people put some work into them and they are ok.

i have the pace setter and am happy with it .the only part that sucks about it is the down pipe where it goes from 2-1 ,but if you chop it there and put a piece of oval 3 inch its much better .also clean up the welds on the inside by the head . oh and that black paint burns of in about a half hr ceramic coat would be best good luck.

OBX/Pacesetter are the only ones available. A few people were trying to develop a header awhile ago, but that failed.

pacesetter is mild steel. If not coated correctly, it'll rust. The obx is mandrel bent stainless. Worst it does is turns nice pretty blue/gold. Have to do some modifictions to make either work correctly. The obx needs the o2 sensor bung moved up almost to the bend in the collector, inside, pointed at the trans. That's about the best mounting point for it.
Header's a waste without good exhaust. 2.5" straight back, a resonator in the stock location(I used a 3"x18" glass pack), and a decent muffler(I used a 2 chamber flowmaster). A highflow cat in the stock location would be worthwhile as well.
