Took measurements for hg a while go and got a # of 2.19999999999 for the required hg . IJ suggested that a 2.0 mm hg would be fine. This was all well and good, til i just spoke to Aaron at DM I was going to go with HKS STOPPER but after explaining to aaron my plans he said HKS for me was overkill. He recommended for my needs and future requirements a cometic 1.9 mm hg. To all who would know better then me, would going from 2.1999999999 to 1.9 be okay. This is my first build and i don't want to mess it up. THANKS IN ADVANCE GUYS FOR ALL UR HELP.

The 0.1mm won't be that big a deal

Given a stock compression ratio of 8.4:1 for a 7M-GTE, that means that for the 2954cc displacement, the combustion chambers must be 399.19cc

Given an 86mm bore (and 6 cylinders) a reduction in HG thickness by 0.2mm (a 2.0mm gasket instead of a 2.2mm gasket) will result in a reduction in the combustion chamber volume by 6.97cc so, 392.22cc for a compression ratio of 8.53:1

A gasket thickness of 1.9mm will result in a reduction of the combustion chamber of 10.46cc resulting in a compression ratio of 8.6:1

This isn't likely to be a real difference. 8.4:1 -> 8.6:1 won't make a significant difference to the engine to throw anything off, and particularly the difference between 8.53:1 -> 8.6:1
