0.9 - 1.3 kilo ohm 40c(104f) 0.4 - 0.7 kilo ohm 60 c ( 140 F)


do these numbers look right i figure that because it is in the haynes manual it should be right
and i have seen numerous posts to test the afm and only come up with a temp test.

i figured out that this is an on vechile inspection. not a bench test. my afm is good anyway. hope this helps someone out there

Why aren't you using the TSRM? The Haynes book of lies is of no use.

because i had one kicking around from when i had my mkII and i had no internet. plus i couldn't find a definitive test for the afm other than the temp sensor.

The Haynes manual is unbelievably vague and inaccurate in most cases.

Resistance measurements are only effective for the temp sensor. An oscilloscope is needed for an in-depth test. But a basic test of the actual metering device can be preformed here.
