Hey everyone, I'm having major trouble with my cps. I've read and reread how to place it in, and I can't seem to get it right. Either its way too far advanced, and can't retard anymore, or I switch it over one tooth and its way too far retarded and I can't retard anymore. I'm running a map-ecu, and also, the computer won't trip (short out when i put the wire in T1, and E1 or whatever.) Please help, I just put on a big turbo, and I want to drive this car!

Not sure why your having so much trouble.. I just put mine in 1 time and it's 10 deg right on... Make sure you are at 0 degrees and the cams are dead on.. Check this out..http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38775 It's not that hard.. Rotate the cam like 1 click to the left (I think) and when you push it in it the cam will rotate into position. Make your adjustment with the housing so it lines up like the pic and tighten it down.. It may take a few attempts but YOU CAN DO IT!!!

It will run with it 180 out and do exactly what you are describing.
