Hi to all, well as the title says I'm having troubles with my distributor,. I have recently fixed my bhg, and i decided that as long as i had everything out i might as well clean it, the hg was a success:icon_bigg, the problem started when i decided to take the distributor out to clean it and made the mistake to not mark where it was supposed to be at.:aigo: i tried searching info and see if anyone had a problem like this but i guess not, so now i find my self here looking for help.

Fixing your girl's car
Study step 4 on pages IG-17 and IG-18. That will get you to the correct TDC.

You can also take the upper timing cover off and verify TDC. EM-23 step 8.

Don't forget step 8 on IG-20. You can use a small piece of 20gauge wire instead of that SST.

depending on how much material was taken of the head/block (if any) you might find that to set proper timing the distributor will have to be adjusted fully one way
