That's a interesting failure you've got there. No way for it to happen normally. You've either got a short in the diag block or wiring, a funky ecu (I doubt it), or you left the jumper in. Something is putting it in diag mode. Code 51 would be normal in the last situation whever the TPS is off idle. I'll bet your timing and idle is a little goofy too.
