So I met a sales exec for an injection molding company a few months ago on a plane, had a great talk, and I'm calling him to see if I can interview for a position that would require me to "The main function of this position is to oversee all aspects of customer account and acts as the liaison between XXXX Mold and Tool and the customer." Primarily for the automotive industry (fans, A & B pillars, body components, etc).
I come from the chemical industry (thermosetting resins) in technical service, product development and a little bit of sales.
Has anybody worked in this field? Anything in particular I should say, read up on, know about, etc? I'm just looking to make the conversation as good as possible. Thanks.
