harness code color NEED HELPP ASAP

Yes my surpa is gone but what does the color on the harness indicate for 89 i have the yellow is late or early

yellow would be early. they changed to gray sometime in '89.

weird- does it have the pre '89 style plugs on it, though? (will it plug into a pre '89 ECU?)

what month in '89 was your car manufactured. this is why drjonez always says to treat '89s as their own special breed.
