Hi guys, I'm in the middle of replacing some gaskets on my 7m. I have the engine mounted on a stand right now but i forgot to loosen the bolt for the harmonic banancer. I know i'll be needing a puller but how do i loosen the bolt? thanks!

Well, it's not much help now I guess, but I put a socket and breaker bar on it when it was in the car, and gave the engine a crank.

yup.... forgot to do that. lol but those who buy jdm engines and want to do a tear down must get this bolt out somehow. they sure as hell dont put the engine back into the car just for this one bolt. thanks for the input regardless!

its on a stand? you got it easy then. pull the oil pan(replace the gasket while your at it) and block the crank with a 2X4.

If you're not pulling the pan, do it IJ.'s way, to take an impact gun, hit the bolt with some PB blaster, and tap the impact gun in short bursts on the bolt until it loosens up.
