So i just found out that one of our local skateboard videos got "leaked" onto the internet.. like anyone would give a shit about it anyways. But my friend hosted it on his website. haha the kid did push mongo, I took out a rollerblader. Yea, the vignetting from the old fake death sucks, he finally got a real one for the last couple weeks we filmed. I skate every now and then, I love it, but I quit because I broke my leg. BTW I didn't choose the song. The footage was from 2001-2002 I believe.

Kinda the same with me, Cryo. I didn't quit, I just stopped doing it. I still skate every now and then, but I used to do it everyday. I still frequent the local skateshop, attend demos and video premiers, I still wear all my old skate shirts and shoes. I don't think I will ever wear anything but skate shoes.

I've been skating cents I was 6 years old. I made a skate video last summer. Its 27 minutes long. To bad its 700mb or I'd show it!!!! O'well

^^^hell yeah! skate shoes are the most comfortable shoes there is. i never skateboarded but i snowboard alot so i figure thats enough so i can wear skate shoes.

I used to get mad at people that wore skate shoes and didn't but then I read something that Mike Vallely wrote in a Skateboarder Magazine: Skateboarders don't own the shoe companies anymore, corporations own the shoe companies. So the shoes don't really belong to us to begin with.

Skateboarding is so much fun, I'm glad i got my car otherwise i would never have gotten my priorities straight. I would keep skating and keep getting hurt. I'd still just be pretty good, but not that good compared to my friends, and I'd just be bitter that i wasted that much time on something i wasnt that good at. I guess I'm just being bitter tho, because those were some of the best times of my life.

oh, and I bought 4 pairs of my favorite skate shoes to stock up on. three pairs to skate one for pimpin'.

Edit.. speeking of Mike V, Bobby Stewart in that video skated Am on his team for about a year until the team went bankrupt. Then he didnt try and get a new sponsor and got into hondas.

The time swhen skateboarding was my biggest love were some of the best times of my life. I'd never change it and I loved skating every day. My friend called me today and said "it's real nice out, we should skate" "Yea... I think I'm working on my car all day though..." "oh..."
I felt kind of bad,not for my friend but the fact that working on my car was more important than going out and having fun for an hour. but things do change. I guess it's part of growing up. I'll probably skate tomorrow, If my car is back together.

I sk8ed for several years, oh the memories.I lived in small town america, and boy did the cops love to mess with us, especially when the whole town got together and we had about 20 guys in a pack owning the roads. I remember attending the first x-trials event here in louisville the first year the x-games was created. I got Donny Barley's Autograph,its been years since i seen it
