I think i just found why car started running like crap, just need you guys to confirm what i found. Stupid question but i have to ask...do i have to ground the brown wire for my 1jz ECU... I figured the ECU was grounded cause i didn't take the harness from the engine set when i received my 1jz..The other day i was going though all my research, and i found the gray 25 pin connector, which i believe must have plugged into the dash of the supra, not sure... but that plug has a brown wire thats suppose to be ecu ground.

Question is do i just cut this wire and ground it.. that simple? By the way 1jz swapped into a 74 nissan 260z..Hopfully i didn't burn my ECU..looks fine on the inside...caps have been replaced.

Man all the grounds are brown. If it's e2 thats supplied ground to sensors dont mess with it. If it's e1 (diag) it doesnt have to be grounded. All others do.
