So Ive been lurking this site for the past few months since buying my MKIII. Let me try to make this interesting... My name's Sam, I'm 20 years old and I reside in Brooklyn, NY. Ive been a MKIII Supra fan since I was about 8 or 9. My dad bought a 87 Turbo MKIII when I was 12 and madly in love with them and then sold it shortly after. It was my first hands on experience with a MKIII. Since then, i've owned a few Third Gen Camaros from ages 16-18 and helped start a local Third Gen F-Body club. Ive rekindled my love for old school Toyotas last year after selling my 88 IROC-Z and buying my one owner MKII 84 Supra the day after. I also own (sorta) a 83 Cressida 5 Speed and a '84 Celica GT with 59k.
I'm a regular on CelicaSupra.com since most of my interest is my MKII. (I love it to death) I lurk these forums to motivate myself some on the MKIII. As much as I wanted one since I was a kid I find myself not too thrilled about it anymore. I mean, the day I bought it I couldnt stand still and was happy as hell. I'm looking to take the MKII off of the road this winter and put the MKIII on the road.
So far on the MKIII, ive changed the fuel pump and did a tune up. The next thing I'm gonna tackle is the water pump and some other odds and ends. I need to shampoo the interior since the car was sitting for a few years with moisture in it. I'm looking to do some simple bolt ons to it and put most of my time and money into my prized MKII.
I bought the MKII from the original owner since new last year with 175k on it. I have 192k on it right now and runs amazing for the age and miles. Car is pretty clean too. Ive done regular maintainance and some other odds and ends. I'm running a Cressida brake upgrade in the front with drilled and slotted rotors, ceramic pads. I have a MKIII booster in there for more assist. Car is soon getting a AGX and coilover upgrade with Whiteline Sway in the front. A chopped spring with AGX will do for the back for now. I will also be tackling my 5 Speed swap which is sitting in my garage collecting dust.
Exterior mods are for now, Old school Foha Rear spoiler, Lonza Tail Light Covers, Cressida lip in the front, Celica XX quarter Vents. Looking to slam the car on my 15x8 wheels with 4 inch lip. They are the 5 star spokes that were popular in the late 80's.
As you can see from my long ass post, I love my MKII the most. lol

Here's the MKIII. It has a 7MGTE, R154, HKS EVC and an Autometer Gauge lol. I think it has an aftermarket exhaust. Soemone said it could be an older HKS.
