i figured, i would see what you guys thought about my turbo down greddy manifold or get a turbo up? i posted it before but just getting to installing it.
what you think.

I always thought turbo down looked cool. Ceramic coat it (;cough; jdub ;cough so it has that nice almost new look all the time, and you'll have a sea of piping that will have people look twice.

That looks awesome. I just sold the blitz manifold I had that was that same style. I say use it.

Def. get it ceramic coated, that's going to be damn close to the hood of the car and could damaged/destroy the heat sheild padding attached to the underside of the hood, not to mention the paint too. I'd go the extra step and wrap it in header wrap too .

heat wrap is no good, that's why you ceramic coat it. the wrap will trap moisture (leading to rust/rotting) as well as keep heat within the metal of the header. the coating reflects the heat - helping the header from fatiguing.

SD - that blitz was sweet too.

woody - thanks, but being that I have to deal with the visual smog nazis, unless i wanted to swap stuff, I'll have to pass. The smog shop I've gone to the last few times is cool -there are certain things they let 'slide' as long as its done clean. If that wasn't an issue. I'm pretty sure I would have jumped on that blitz that SD had for sale a little while back.

Also, turbo down is easy to plumb, hard to wrench on.

Should be quite a bit better flowing exhaust due to less severity of a bend after the turbo (not as much of a turbo elbow needed).
