Well I was able to buy a complete USDM 7M GTE engine today. I will pick it up on Saturday. Also getting all the intercooler piping as well. I got it out of a junked 89. Does it run? Who knows, it's getting rebuilt no matter what. The oil in it is clean and there is no milk on the oil cap. I think it just has 111k miles on it. I'm just glad I was able to find a complete USDM so won't have to worry about replacing JDM stuff. I wanted to buy the whole car but didn't have enough $$$. When I get it home and out of the back of my truck, I'll start tearing it down to see what I have to work with. So now I just need and oil cooler, ECU for automatic and an auto turbo instrument cluster. I know I'll need a couple of more things but can't think of them right now. I'll post of pic of the engine later today after our high speed internet is hooked up.
