I have a honda and its stock 
will run like 70% of the supras on this board!
s2000 13.7-14.2 stock 1/4 mile.
My Honda stock for stock is faster then decently modded mk3's, Turns better, more reliable, New car smell... (need I say more lol), 6 speed, Drop top, somwhere around 2700 pounds, Mass Aftermarket.
BUTTTT since im a mk3 lover, im not bagging them at all.... Just cause some ricers mess up the honda name regardless if its any honda no matter what it is, it will be bashed.
Hondas can be made fast for CHEAP there is so many and a big aftermarket is why. I belive if you hand 5000$ to a Mk3 owner and a Honda owner I honestly will say I belive the honda can and will go faster. (look better? Better crusing at high speeds? Have a certain feel when you hop in it that you love it? respect from others? NO *unless its a s2000 lol) You can do an engine swap and turbo on a civic and a set of slicks and misc other crap and that thing will run good and be pretty quick. My friend had a turbo d16 (stock engine) del sol and run in the low 13's.... with a 900$ invested in his whole turbo kit on his stock ass motor lol. ok with a mk3, you can spend a good amount of money and make it a beast but faster for the buck I dont think so.
All in all if you want a fast 1/4 time get a mustang or a LS1... (best bang for the buck for going fast.)
Or a bike lol.

After finding I had nothing to do so I read the 8 pages lol...

and the SS, vette, supra, Blah misc stuff... I myself when I got my s2000 few weeks back was allowed up to 28k$ on credit that I could afford within reason monlthy payments. I could of gotten pretty much any of the cars listed here,
00 vette, insurance was outragious, and to be honest just didnt want 1 THAT bad.
03 Cobra, I didnt get this car as much as I wanted it for the main reason I looked into it.... I would of gotten this car and modded the PISS outta it and gotten alot of tickets and stuff woulda started breaking after modding.
Mkiv supra. I boggled this 1 around for awhile and decided plain and simple I wanted a newer car and wasnt going to pay the same amount for a car thats 10+ years old I can get a new car for the same price. (and mods and tickets lol)
I also looked more into the Lincon LS, bmw's, Audi's, Saab's 350z..
I settled on a HONDUH s2000 and knew I was going to have to put up with the honda bashing and I dont regret getting the car at all.
and to be honest if I knew after getting my mk3 supra back when I did long time ago that it was going to break on me as much as It did and leave me stranded as many times as it did I woulda just got me a civic or somthing lol.

JDM 2jz's put out about the same amount of hp as the USDM ones do. All the Japanese car companies have some sort of "gentlemans agreement" basically stating that they wont produce a car over 276 hp. Obviously if you look at say an NSX over in the States it put out about 290 whereas the JDM one put out only "276". The Skyline R32 GTR's on paper put out 276 HP but they have been dynoed at almost 310 hp.
hm... alrighty then... always assumed it was 280 bhp for the jdm jza80 (i know they do have smaller injectors than the usdm, but that's about it... i believe it's 480 cc injectors), but i did know about the skylines... the bnr34 supposedly had about 320 ish bhp from the factory.. let me know if i'm wrong:icon_biggRHDMK3 said:

Quite frankley i dont run my car at the track. I love my car for what it is and i would never give it up for a Honda no mater how fast it is.

lol i dont know, the nsx is nice but i have personally never seen one in person.
Theres about 3 around here, the one is a real nice new blue one, real clean. If I got one though it'd be gone and then there'd be one hella fast supra in my driveway...I'd say garage but I dont have one. :3d_frown:
honda bashing is so cool...like, maybe if you do it enough, the popular kids will let you come to their party saturday.

LOL damn. Well i have seen a early NSX like once and it passed me up going god knows how fast. Because it was up on the highway i was just "cruisin" doing about 85 and it flew past me and then i saw it heading the other direction on the exit ramp. Looks sexy but ive never really seen one close up yet.
Why does everyone have to bash Honda's? sure they arn't my favourite car but I don't go around all the time posting garbage about how they suck.
